4.16.11 - HERE WE GO AGAIN....

Well, I'm back and excited to introduce my new band, The Evann Black Project.

While this band is playing primarily covers, I will be injecting originals where they are appropriate. You'll hear mostly danceable rock and my own versions of pop tunes that I worked closely with my guys to arrange. We are also incorporating my own original music which I am ecstatic about.

This past year has been spent going through the painstaking process of auditioning musicians to find the right band members. While I came across some amazing talent, it took a while to find the right fit for the band.

It took so long to hand-pick the band members because this band is special to me. As an artist I really care about the way this band represents my personal musical vision. But I'm confident that I finally found the right guys. The guys are all dynamic, super-talented players with pro attitudes and just genuinely nice to be around.

So stay tuned, dates will be posted soon. And feel free in the meantime to send me an e-mail and say "hello". I will be reviving my email list and sending out monthly newsletters soon but I always like to hear from old friends. I will be glad to see some familiar faces again, it's been way too long.
